Anti-Doping Research, Inc. (ADR) is a dynamic new force in the fight against doping in
sports. Founded in 2005 by Don Catlin, M.D., and colleagues, the organization addresses complex doping issues through, among other means, research and testing development. Current areas of research are hot topics in congressional and media circles because they are vital to the future of sport. They include improving detection methods for human growth hormone (hGH) and erythropoietin (EPO), two powerful and effective therapeutic drugs abused by some athletes for doping purposes. Our supporters include major sports organizations, the thoroughbred racing industry, pharmaceutical companies, and anti-doping organizations.
